About Us

We are a local family business supplying Specialty green coffee from Colombia. Our coffee beans come directly from the farms of our families and friends, coffee growers from the Cauca Regions.The farms are in the departments of Cauca Valley and Cauca right across the Andes Mountain ranges, where there is fertile land, well-balanced climate, and of course growers’ dedication to bring up high quality coffee for the enjoyment of the coffee fans.At Green Coffee Land we want to connect coffee growers with coffee lovers while making sure the prices are a decent wage for the farmers.

Regional Coffee

We supply Regional coffee from growers (Cafeteros) located in the departments of Cauca and Cauca Valley, the Southwest part of Colombia. The beans are Supremo and Excelso grade, as per the Colombian standards to export only the best coffee. Supremo and Excelso beans could exhibit the same composition and flavour as they might come from the same farm, tree, just different in size with Excelso being slightly smaller than Supremo grade.

Cauca Valley Region

This coffee comes from a combination of small growers located in the Northeast and Centre of the department of Cauca Valley (Argelia, El Aguila, Ulloa, Sevilla, Restrepo).It is typically creamy with notes of caramel and medium acidity. The average growing altitude is from 1,350m.a.s.l. to 1.850 m.a.s.l., varietal Castillo, and processing method is Washed and dried under the sun (some use mechanical driers).We will provide an update when our shipment of Specialty coffee from Cauca Valley Region arrives to Green Coffee Land.Supremo:Fragrance/Aroma: sweet, brown sugar, caramel, chocolate. Tasting Notes: brown sugar, chocolate notes, caramel, sweet and clean aftertaste. Creamy body, moderate citric acidity, balanced and clean cup. Cupping score: 83.5Excelso:Fragrance/Aroma: sweet, brown sugar, caramel. Tasting Notes: brown sugar, citric notes, caramel, sweet and clean aftertaste. Creamy body, moderate citric acidity, medium balanced and clean cup. Cupping score: 83

Cauca Region (harvest coming soon)

We’re excited to announce that we are collaborating with our family and friends in the Cauca Region (Pescador, Morales, Piendamo, Timbio, Rosas, Paispamba) to secure the next harvest of high-quality coffee for our local customers.Our friends, the Trujillo family, and Green Coffee Land are working together to bring to our customers Specialty coffee from the Rosas municipality in the Cauca Region in 2025.Cauca Region coffee is grown at high altitude (average 1,700 m.a.s.l.) in volcanic soil, under the sun and semi-shaded. The coffee cupping from this Region has consistently showed a balanced body, strong caramel aroma, floral notes, medium-high acidity, balanced body, and balanced cup.We’re getting ready for the harvest; we will keep you updated!
